I made a new post with an article about Ronald and LSU. You are mentioned as one of the visitors along with Ronald and the rest your family.
While I think that is great, the thing that stands out to me is that Grayson may be the most talented high school team in the nation. That includes IMG academy.
From Dandy's:
"The three from Georgia are five-star LB Owen Pappoe, four-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris and three-star athlete Ronald Thompkins. LSU is not considered the leader for any of the three at this time, but the one the Tigers seem to have the best shot with is Morris, as he is said to have developed a strong relationship with LSU O-line coach James Cregg."
That's a 5, 4 and 3 star visiting LSU this weekend. In the "Grant Gunnell" thread Smash Williams posted that EJ Holland had put in a pick for Gunnell to LSU. While looking at all of EJ's picks I noticed he also had 4-star Kevin Harris from Grayson to LSU. Overall KH is 40% LSU and 40% Clemson.
LSU also had a commit from Grayson in 4-star WR Kenyon Jackson. Who committed in June of last year and decommited 9/13.
I don't know if any sites rate the high schools based on their players but I bet Grayson would be way up there.
Hopefully, LSU will be able to get a couple/few of them.

Kirby ain't letting a player worth a shite that he wants leave that state anymore

After the last 3-0 to 0-3 disaster from Rome, I have zero faith we land any of them. Not with what Georgia is currently doing.

What's he going to do kidnap them? Good he will be arrested

LOL! I love when they make those concise comments as if they were speaking like God himself on the matter. Nobody here has control in these issues. Wake up children! Cyberbworld ain't reality

There are more players like that there than he has spots for. That's the one good thing about the rule change.

Did you make this same proclamation when the two players on LSU's roster from the Buford area were being recruited?
quote:
BUFORD, Ga. — Kevin Harris II’s recruitment has taken a unique turn in the last month.
Were those two player's parents from Baton Rouge? did their sisters live in Baton Rouge when they were being recruited and signed?
Not saying you are wrong but it seems pretty dumb to make a statement like that. Tyler Taylor is a LB from that area and started quite a few games last season as a true freshman. Guess LSU wasn't getting him either.

I’ve been on this visit with my cousin Ronald all weekend along with his 2 teammates and the grad transfer from Stanford. Official visits are definitely eye opening. This is the 1st official for Ronald and he’s going to Penn St at the end of the month. If my schedule permits, I’ll probably be on that too. Really can’t tell where his head is right now- I think he’s just soaking it all in after early committing then decomittibg from FSU.

Did you watch the scrimmage?

Yep! Our defense is nasty! Fehoko is prolly my favorite player...he and Lawrence were unblockable.

Let’s revisit this after signing day.

You’re talking about yourself right?

The state of Georgia has 42 blue chip prospects this year (5*- 4*). Kirby can’t and will not take all of them. Even if he takes all 25 commits from the home state that still leaves 17 players to go elsewhere so yes there will be some kids that leave the state of Georgia.

Fehoko will be a star but I was very impressed with Logan and Shelvin! Netherly looked very good too told me he liked defense way more and man I wish Fulton was eligible... he looked amazing Thursday and today! Had a pick six or two Thursday

Devin also came over and spoke to them! Seemed to all be having a good time. Pretty sure Morris spent the scrimmage with kardell
