Alabama RHP Kade Woods Commits to LSU

Woods, who attended Ouachita Christian High School in Monroe, had a 5.52 ERA in 29? innings pitched on for the Crimson Tide this season after sitting out as a redshirt his freshman season. He also recorded 38 strikeouts this year which led all Crimson Tide relievers.

The 6’3 RHP led Alabama relief pitchers in Ks and had an 11-6 record for the Tide this season

Had an issue with walks but this is the kind of stuff he has when he is on:
in a March 17 game vs Florida, came into the 7 with 2outs & bases loaded:
7th
Kurland: K
8th
Cagloanone: K
Rivera: K
Riopelle: K
9th
Evans: K
Shelnut: K
Schiekofer: K
He basically struckout Florida's whole lineup consecutively and preserved a 6-3 Alabama win.

Good kid. Knocked the snot out guys on football field til he sat out senior year for baseball. Pulling for him after injuries and what happened at Bama.
