Not entirely sure on this but what I know is that we evaluated him in camp this past summer and didn't look at him as an elite player. May have offered 2 camps ago but we never put the pressure on him and backed away from him. Bigger fish on the board to go after. I also remember him weighing around 212lbs this past summer camp, extremely small for a DE.

And as for the whole Alabama offer, Saban just has a thing for offering those Louisiana kids to have more pull. It is what it is.

But at the end of the day, we have bigger priorities with this DLine class and I expect us to finish up there with one of the best DLine hauls in recent memory.

There are a lot of rumors and educated guesses posted in this thread...but here are the facts:

-Sci has a committable offer from LSU
-Our coaching staff has turned on the heat with him in the last month and a half
-He is a 100% take right now if he wants in
