Hear that, but we also aren’t willing to pay the price for the proven commodities it seems. Walter Nolan would have been arguably our best defensive player. Lots of other examples.

My response here is to be patient. Nolen was bag-chasing; doesn’t look like Kelly is going after bag chasers. He wants guys who fit what he’s trying to build and I have no problem with that. That’s not the same as he/LSU not being willing to pony up.
The defensive coaching changes, if nothing else, show Kelly is willing to admit when he’s made a mistake and adapt. Thats a pretty massive departure from what we‘ve had here for quite a while and it’s earned him some trust, with me at least. Whether or not his way is the right way is TBD…
