Hayes Fawcett was the one credited with breaking it. I'm a big fan of Shea but he was also the first to really begin the Corey Raymond talk. Doesn't make it gospel because he says it. Doesn't make it untrue either.
The db coach talk in regards to coaches telling recruits who the hire is, what would be the point in keeping it secret? If it's settled then they should be announced and on campus recruiting when the kids visit. It just doesnt add up. And if true by some miracle, I'd love to hear the reasoning why it makes any kind of sense to not have the guy that's going to be coaching them on campus convincing them why LSU is the best place for them. Maybe I really am as crazy as some of you think because I'm confused.

Seems much more logical that we are waiting for the NFL dust to settle for a guy like Karl Scott with CR in addition to the staff or as a backup plan to our other top options

Idk why we refuse to play ball on this stuff. A 5 star corner with at least 2 years left to play seems like a good pursuit. Instead we'll just concede him to Aggie?
