If somebody has already posted about him I apologize but do we have a shot with this linebacker from GA? Saw the story on the Tigerbait front page. Fella looks pretty impressive.

His Louis Earl doesn't have an offer so I doubt we get him.

Doubtful but he's a bit of a prima donna so you never know how his recruitment will go.Have heard that the 2 GA school,Bama and Clemson are the teams to beat.Think he wants to go to Bama but they are waiting out Depriest from Ohio.

Two LB spots left. DePriest, Vaughters, and Grant first in line. Johnson and Landrum next, I would think.

Like your chances with Depriest though I still feel that Braxton Miller will pull him to OSU with him. They're best friends and think that's the difference in the end but without that he would be commited to Bama already imo.Vaughters is a little bit of a longshot at this point.I never count Saban out but he appears to have UGA,OSU and Stanford really high out of his 8 finalists.Grant is yours if you guys take him imo.One of my favorite LBs in this class.Biased a little since he's local to me and I've seen him numerous times but he's a stud.

FWIW, he said any school that would take his brother, Nick Johnson, who is a tight end at Georgia millitary college (JUCO) would automatically be his number one school right now.

Highly doubt that.

I agree, and I don't see many decent programs offering a mediocre JUCO tight end a scholly just to get A.J.. My guess is some school like Clemson will offer his brother to get A.J. if he sticks to the package deal idea.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. He said any school on his list he was considering.

do you really want a guy who is making demands/stipulations? doesn't sound like a we player to me.

You got some terrible info there. UGA is not interested in AJ and he does not like us very much. The previous defensive coaching staff never seemed very interested in him and offered him very late, and our current staff hasn't gone out of their way to make amends with him, so I assume that they have others that are more highly thought of as well. AJ sees that we haven't shown him a ton of love and so he doesn't really care that much for us. AJ will not go to UGA.

You are really blowing this out of proportion.

How unrealistic is it that the team your brother is playing on would be your favorite team?

What's the deal with his brother? He said he'd love to go where both could play. Nevermind, just read it. GEAUX TIGERS
