How come when we are a top school for a guy we don't get the recruit simply because his family wants him to stay close to home but when it is other way around he says frick family and leaves state??

We got CG3 to leave home, got LF to stay in state. I'd say those were pretty big wins.

Fwiw I had a Karr coach tell me this face to face. Said speedy would tell him "Im'a tell you whatever so you can run and say it."
These guys had a lot of fun with their recruitment. This same coach told me he thought a&m would land him. Also told me Big Gee was all LSU. He was 50% correct

Wrong it wasn't down to LSU and a&m it was always a&m. Everyone else... just hats on a table.

I would have never chosen a college just to have my family see me play....LSU and others have basically every game televised. When family is able to make it in for a weekend or 2, it makes it all the more special.

There was an article about a week ago stating that his top 4 are Oklahoma, Florida state, LSU, and Tennessee. Everything I've seen or read seems positive for LSU, but I would still be surprised to get him.
