Even if the granny thing is complete BS, and we'll know on Friday, that still doesn't change the fact that I said he clearly wants to "officially" announce at his time and place. It was expected by some he wasn't signing today. Including by "insiders". Wasn't it Embody on yesterdays morning radio??? Anywho, If the worst speculation was granny, thats not bad. All that means is the result is the same as I laid out, just different place and time. If he doesn't sign at grannys, he could wait til April 1st.

ETA: I don't see how she would be pushing JB to LSU if she works for a SC booster. Makes no sense. Even if she didn't work for a booster, but worked anywhere in SC, why would she push him away to LSU?
I believe more that she prefers USC.

If we’re going down that rabbit hole, you think some LSU booster wouldn’t set her up with a sweet job in LA? And if there’s other family nearby, it’s not like they’d be isolated. I have family in GA and LA, and have lived both places.

That definitely could happen... and has. Isn't that dangerous. If thats a possibility, and JB wanted to go to LSU, then I think mom and him would have already signed with LSU. Why would they have to wait? They have plenty of time to find a house. That can be done a month from now.

Agree completely. I think the biggest tell, and it might not be factual or accurate, is that JB's mom works in the SC school system. Seems odd that she would be that adamant about sending him ~800 miles away from her. That to me would be the oddest thing.

That could explain a lot and cause some people a lot of problems. I think if the booster is putting positive pressure ($$$) or negative pressure (you like this job?) and the NCAA gets involved.....

someone posted a rumor on a uga board that his mom works for a roofing contractor that gets a lot of work on the usc campus and that she was supposed to get a big raise if he stayed.

insiders were saying before today that there was potential for a big time flip but none of them will say if it was burch or not. vauge hints that it maybe was him and that he maybe was in athens at some point this weekend but nobody thats is a "true insider" will confirm if the potential flip was him or not.
