Don’t want. Brennan is our guy.

Being a graduate transfer is not 'bailing' on your team.

Does the article say he is actually looking at LSU or just that LSU could be a landing spot because Burrow is leaving?
I think the article is just sheer conjecture and the author just basing that conjecture on circumstances. LSU and UGA will need need starting QB's and King's former OC is (soon to not be) at FSU.
It never hurts to look, but with the way LSU is recruiting it doesn't appear they would even have a spot for him, right?

So what if Brennan doesn’t pan out. I am pulling for the guy, but having options at qb is never a bad thing.

Let him come. Pack two guns instead of one.

Quitting mid-season though when you were the starter might be seen as bailing, I can see that argument. It's not like King lost a battle or something, he was the starter then after 4 games when things weren't going great he decided to stop playing to take the redshirt and transfer. He initially tried to play it off as he'll be back but we all knew why he was really redshirting. Never would make any sense to redshirt and come back for next season when you were already the starter.

Redshirting after 4 games when you’re the starter to preserve eligibility to be a grad transfer kinda is

Yeah. I live in Houston and it was fully reported on tv and paper. His dad and he cooked this up with Holgerson to tank this season to prepare for the next. His teammates were not on board with it at all and felt he quit on them. Don’t need him at LSU we are fine without him

Personally, I don’t want any one year quarterbacks. A 2 year OL or edge maybe.

you guys need to see his games... he is wildly inaccurate, which does not bode well for our offense... yes his running ability is nice but he cant hit the broad side of a barn...i went to two games last year and was not impressed with his throwing...
Brennan would beat him out anyway... but if you want him, youd have to drop finely for him... that what you want??

A lot of stupid in this thread, PFF ranked him as the second best qb in all of CFB last year (91.2) grade, but for some reason, y’all are claiming he can’t pass? I can’t qwhite figure out why.

Well he had a 52% completion this year. If you were to take him, he has to be the starter or he will leave before the season starts. Brennan transfers. You gave a spot up for a one year player. If you believe Brennan is ready, you don’t even entertain it. If you don’t, go get him. (I think Brennan will be fine)
