I think he wants a chance at a pro career & Houston wasnt a great platform to display his talents. I took what he did as a business decision.

Would be an absolute grand slam

Would not be feasible to do this. First, he'd count against the 2020 recruiting class. This means you'd have to turn away a current commit or recruit.
Second, you'd have him for 1 season and he would not beat out Brennan for starter. Brennan will know this offense inside and out when the season starts next year.
Third, the best you could hope for is a change of pace QB. Not saying this would not be valuable to the offense, but turning away a HS recruit for this would be stupid. Besides that, if LSU wants a change of pace QB they have it on roster already with Pistol Pete Parish. And Parish will have more experience in the offense than would King.
So I don't see this happening.

Who you want to process out of this recruiting class to make room for him cause we don't have any schollies for him. Let him go to Florida State, they will have a brand new coach soon enough

King was in his senior year before he entered the transfer portal and was only completing 53%.

His last game, as a senior, was a loss vs Tulane and he only completed 48%.

In what world, other than the AAC, is a 50%-ish completion percentage rate considered ballin'?

Terrence Alexander dropped out of LSU once the year ended

LSU CAN NOT take a grade transfer for two years because of Alexander not fulfilling his academic requirements at LSU

Watched him play against Tulane. He was not impressive. Very inaccurate.

ETA: can we get Tulane’s QB?

Does the article say he is actually looking at LSU or just that LSU could be a landing spot because Burrow is leaving?

Maybe when he had 50 Total TD’s last year with only 4 picks. 64% completion percentage. That’s ballin

He didn’t want to waste his final year of eligibility on a garbage team and his head coach encouraged it.. King would be lethal in our offense and we really should look into bringing in a grad transfer at QB. If someone with his skill set in a offense like Brady runs you would be crazy not to be all in on a guy like King.

You say he's a quitter? Didn't Joe do that to Ohio St? Thing is I don't consider Joe a quitter, he just found a better place for his skill set.......maybe this guy is doing the same thing?

Joe didn’t leave his team in the middle of the season while being the actual starter.
He may have his valid reasons but these are not similar.

Joe did the right thing and left when he was named backup before a season even began.

If FSU keeps Briles I could See it.

If not he will probably look wherever Briles ends up.

UGA would be a huge mistake. He just needs to look at Fields.

I dont Know if we want him. Depends on how the coaches feel about Brennan.

I just watched his Junior highlights and he is incredibly impressive.

He runs extremely well, but also seems to put the right zip on the ball depending upon the circumstances.

I don't know why he struggled in the few games of his Senior season though.

Not sure how to feel.

Didn’t he redshirt because the coach asked him to so he would have another year of eligibility, a year learning the system, and a year older.

From what I heard Dana is famous for doing this with his players
