I know its a business but someone on the SC staff should have to decency to give the kid a call and update him on whats going on.

That's what it seems like. Unfortunately this shows the true colors. They should at least still care about the well-being of the kid.
Last year when we parted ways with Earl Lane, he went with Coach Haley and visited Sam Montgomery to assure him that he was in good hands.

Why are you attacking me, and who the hell said you can't feel bad for him? God damn, you people are so fricking uptight. Yes, I feel bad that the kid is having a rough time, but I also know that as talented as he is, he'll either go to USC and be ok, or he'll go somewhere else and be ok there too. Don't be so fricking defensive thinking that someone is attacking your opinion when they are not at all.
