This must mean Goodrich is off the board? All in on Foster?

My understanding from reading most of the threads on the board is that Goodrich is a Clemson lock.

Goodrich a lock to Clemson, huh? It’s amazing how some people talk to the recruits and get this information.

Goodrich is a lock to Clemson. 247 national mods rarely make a crystal ball pick. Most have put in the pick to Clemson as of his OV there.

It will be fine. Joseph, Chase, Surtain, and Foster would be a hell of a finish.

From what iv read, its really just writers being confident in Clemsons ability to close and the fact that Goodrich isnt using a visit this weekend which they are using as a tell. Its just an assumption really although the writers are quality.

You could say something similar about PS2s recruitment

After that “5 for 5” (or whatever it was called) fiasco, I don’t believe shite until they announce. Recruits can and do change their minds the day of the announcement. The cb’s are interesting to read though. No one knows for sure except family maybe.

Agree. I don't think anything is definitive at this point. Its just a perception thing with the monster, yet small, class Clemson has and the fact they aren't missing much. It could go either way to me.

I agree with everything you said except the above statement. That was not a fiasco, that was a blessing.

LSU wound up with Fournette and Jamal Adams. The other schools got 3 players who were in trouble and never really panned out. Tony Brown may be the only one that was a decent player for the other team.

Yes, LSU came out more than ok but I was referring to the buildup, etc. At the time, no one knew the others would be busts. I remember just praying that Fournette would salvage the day. My son-in-law yelled “Thank God” when he said “The University of LSU”. The big disappointment for me at the time was Noil.

I think the OP is correct, you don't send 6 coaches to see a recruit this close to signing day if you aren't really trying to sign the recruit which they obviously are. 3 spots 4 players someone isn't coming and since everyone feels that Surtain and Chase are LSU it is not hard to try and predict the rest with the news we have now. Does it mean that assumption is correct? No but the puzzle is becoming clearer as to what the picture is going to look like.

I with this new news I will take a side wager with anyone at this point I don't believe Goodrich is in this class.

And if you look a previous post of mine he was the player I wanted badly because I truly believe he is going to be a beast in college.

Unless Goodrich left Clemson on his OV with a fat suitcase full of $ I don't see him being a lock. Then again I'm not fortunate enough to have "sources" who sleep under this kids house or know this guy that knows that guy who overheard from a worker at McDonald's that it's a done deal for Goodrich to Clemson. Hope LSU can pull this kid as I'm not a big fan of getting Foster just to fill a position. We can more than get our QB's for 19.

Exactly. Everybody is caught up with the fact that he decided to not take anymore official visits after the Clemson visit. He visited LSU, Georgia and Clemson. He might have just only visited the school he wanted to and don't need to see anymore. LSU should still visit him before Feb 5th

The entire offensive staff went meet with Noah Cain today in Florida at IMG. They are visiting Surtain tonight.

turned out to be such a blessing. tony has not been as good as advertised. wouldn't take him over any of the starting corners we've had since then. speedy who? and that troublemaking D lineman?

6 coaches headed to Heritage, great idea for all go together and stop off to seeFoster first then Cain and then the reason all 6 went on this trip. The recruits will feel somewhat special anyhow and that’s a winner.
