He had a fair poor showing at Elite 11 and didn't make the first cut. Struggled completing passes in the wind and his lack of arm strength was very noticeable. Not sure where anyone is getting he made the finals.

He made the finals. Not the final class.

His camp is telling people that he's shutting it down, and Arizona was pushing hard for him to not make the visit to us anymore, so the writing is on the wall. On to the next one.

I still think we take at least one. Right now Baldwin out of IMG is the one they are wanting to get to camp, but as I mentioned in the other thread, they also like Free and a few other guys they don't feel the need to press at the moment.

What other guys? I don't see Free coming here to sit behind Burrow for a year.

There it is. QB Grant Gunnell is committed to Kevin Sumlin and Arizona. LINK

LeGendre is still an option but since he's in state, they won't put out an offer unless they are 100% he's a take. Michael Johnson Jr is still interested, but unless he makes it to a camp I don't see that going anywhere. The dark horse is Calzada out of Georgia. Kid has a big arm and great mechanics, but very small sample size. Not many big offers on the table for him, so sort of a wait and see approach. He looks the part, but we want to see more of him. We'll see what the elite camp brings, won't be shocked to see a new offer or two come out of that at the end of the month.

Better get on Calzada soon, as Georgia just offered. Visiting Tennessee next week, among others.

He's one I could see the offer going out after the elite camp if he comes. Not sure what his plans are at the moment. The reason I say dark horse is because we would be getting into the game late with him.

Justin Fomby is another one I hope comes to camp. Don't know about on field production, but he has one of the best arms that I've seen in this class.
