First, just bc a kid is rated some place right now doesn’t mean that’s where they’ll finish and doesn’t mean anything about how they’ll perform in college

That’s more about a kids make up. What we do know is Tacky Curtains is lacking in that area.

And I’ll trust a DC is regarded as one of the best around when it comes to evaluating players over the uncle of a recruit. No offense to you personally.

Secondly, What the LSU linebacker room needs is tough kids who aren’t afraid to compete and who don’t need their asses kissed or else they shut down with hurt feelings. That’s what we need in every position room.

Obviously some kids see the recruiting process as something their entitled to instead of an opportunity and let their feelings get in the way. That’s a shame but live and learn. It’s just sad that the grown ups in his life have created the perception that he’s soft mentally and afraid of competition.

He latched on to schools that recruited him harder. That isn’t rare.

I hear ya. So ultimately he just wants to get away for college and that’s cool. If his heart was at LSU he’d give the new staff time to build a relationship but he hasn’t

He doesn’t sign til December or February if he wants unless he’s an early enrollee yet he rushed to name a “final 3”

Just speak truthfully rather than acting like the new staff has failed them while being receptive to new coordinators at other schools. The double standard some of these instate kids hold will naturally generate animosity from the fans.

If a kid just says hey I wanna go out of state bc I’ve lived here forever that’s fine but don’t act like you’d be all LSU but the old staff ignored you while failing to give the new staff the same opportunity you’ve afforded the competition

I’m shocked but then again maybe I shouldn’t be since he apparently is afraid to play in the sec and isn’t highly prioritized by any sec power programs

I’m sure Curtis’s #1 fan is privy to inside information at every school and knows what offers to other recruits are “real”.

You really aren’t doing Curtis any favors on this board. You’re making him look worse with every post.

I get that but why rush to shut LSU out? Why not give Kelly and staff the fall to recruit him? See how the relationship evolves and see how the vibe around the program is as the season progresses? Wouldn’t that be the logical thing to do?

Why name a final 3 in late June or early July if there’s any real interest in LSU ?

Just doesn’t make sense man. Unless the truth is he just wants to go away for school. And again if that’s all it is then say it. Don’t continue to paint LSU in a negative light when the coach they hated was fired and we now have a guy who is unanimously considered one of the best college coaches of all time
