Anything below 32 is just listing kids that fell now slotted behind the top 32. Sopsher is 39 now and likely drops out of the top 50.

Alfano looks like he's 35. He's going to be a monster.

Sopsher dropping like a rock is still surprising even though it's been talked about on here.

means he's not going to Bama.

If he signed loi with Bama he'd be a 5.

It amazes me that there are enough people that truly care to see “final 5 star rankings” that 247 will do a full release article while also hyping its release days before.

Do people not realize that these recruiting services are full of “analysts” that would never be scouting talent for organizations ? They push different agendas to keep fan bases buying subscriptions.

For the most part the guys at 247 do a pretty good job. They miss a few here or there, but most misses as far as evaluations are because of players switching positions in college.

As long as you take ranking with a grain of salt and not gospel it can be interesting/fun.

Link to most of their staff's personal picks for 5-stars. Over a dozen of them picked Stingley at 1, and I'm excluding the LSU guys Shea, Sonny, and Billy.

Not sure why you get downvoted, its true in many cases. ESPN deliberately ranks kids differently to appeal to entire regions and fan bases. And some of these guys (Rivals) are really clueless when it comes to evaluating talent.
