Here's what the Louisiana rankings for 2019 look like right now on @247Sports. #LSU's now offered the Top 8 prospects on the list.
Not many guys have committed yet. In the Top 50, five recruits are committed. Four to LSU and one to Kansas.

You think he was not being honest about being from Baton Rouge? Or was it the part about his parents attending the games?

of course he's going to say good things about LSU. especially when a LSU beat writer asks him. but it doesn't really mean much in terms of where he'll sign.

Some of you guys are high if you think Bama isn't going to come in here and cherry pick multiple top 15 Louisiana guys in 2019, similar to what they've been doing for years.

I know Dare Rosenthal was committed to Bama at one time. Did he sign with Saban?
Saban visited Kelvin Joseph a few days before national signing day. Did he sign with Saban?
Bama came hot and heavy for Terrace Marshall - the #1 receiver in the country. Did he sign with Saban?
If all those guys turned their nose to LSU and signed with Saban that is a horrible precedent by the current LSU coaching staff.
Did they only get those 3 Louisiana players or were there more?

Except this was the worst class of LA kids in a long time, they didn't spend much time recruiting the state for the 2018 class, and that's a well known fact.
