Since Orgeron doesn’t interview his asst coaches maybe he doesn’t make sure we recruit one of the states best players either.

He’s a Bama fan growing up Louisiana in the Golden Age of LSU football? What the hell is wrong with that kid? Hard pass.

How can his brother have been Mike the Tiger mascot and he not have been an LSU fan? Just seems this young man has a huge disconnect but if his brother can’t get him fired up I doubt any coach would be able to get him excited to play either. Tiger bait!

I'm sure Ohio and Clemson have kids that grew up Bama fans as well. Happens when one team runs the country for a decade plus. The Bama offer, though heavily saturated, is the most coveted offer since Carroll's USC squads. Bandwagon fans everywhere.

The 4th time posting it is the charm. Let's get a 3rd thread going for this kid. He deserves 3.

If you haven’t noticed, Many sports has a cult following. If you pass through town you’ll see 90% of the population is wearing clothes with the Many “M” on it. I’ve never seen a town with the amount of school pride they have.

Rouge USA Fan Says
"Saban fixin' to Slade Bolden that young man So sad"
This Reply is Long so bear with me please.
Slade Bolden was recruited by LSU exactly the way one would expect LSU to recruit a three star instate kid that never attends camp at LSU. It could however be argued his development and production under Saban is not really anything to get too excited abt.
Slade Bolden is not a good comp to Tackett Curtis either.
Slade Bolden was the 2017 Gatorade Louisiana Football Player of the Year. He attended West Monroe H.S. where he played mainly QB as a senior, passing for 1,622 yards and 20 touchdowns while rushing for 1,460 yards and 20 more scores.
He's now entering year 4 under Saban:
2018 Freshmen: year 1 Redshirted
2019 Redshirt Freshmen: year 2
Special Teams- 6 tackles
WR and wildcat QB- 2 rec for 34 yards, 4 rush for 10 yards, went 1/1 passing for a 6 yard TD
2019 game @ Bama VS LSU:
1 rush for no gain, 0 receptions, 0 passes, 0 tackles
2020 Sophomore: year 3
WR & Special Teams- combined for 270 total yards with 1 td, 24 receptions, 1 rush attempt for 1 yard, 7 punt returns for 49 yards with a long of 16 yards
2020 game @ LSU VS Bama:
He Started at WR and finished with 1 reception for 19 yards and a 1st down. He had 0 returns or tackles on Special Teams
Slade's Recruitment:
LSU offered on March 3rd 2017 of his Senior year in H.S.
Bama offered May 4th 2017. Slade CHOSE to attend Bama Camp on July 16th 2017, & to commit to Bama on August 3rd 2017. There is no record of Slade ever Camping with LSU. Even so, Saban had to make two trips to Slade's home late in his senior year to fend off Our LSU Tigers.
Whether Slade Bolden chose Alabama over LSU because we didn't offer him early enough to satisfy his sensibilities, or he just grew up a fan of theirs- who knows or cares other than him. Same for whether he's happy with his development under Saban.
He's Tiger Bait now and forever.
At the pace he's collecting offers now Tackett will likely be a legitimate 5 Star recruit by the end of his senior year of H.S.
We all know now that Tackett grew up an Alabama fan with a LSU mascot costume wearing older brother. Let's hope he chooses to attend an LSU camp, gets appreciated for his obvious potential, gets an offer, and decides to Become a Tiger.
Thanks for reading.
