Fun fact: I lived across the street from Coach Cryer in Lake Charles when I was in a halfway house in 2017
I got my writing career resurrected when I covered Catholic New Iberia at St Louis Catholic.

Tackett is not coming to lsu unless kelly can change his mind.. i have great insight on this.. trust me.. they do have a safety at many for the class of 2024 we need to get asap..

Many also has a 2024 running back, Jeremiah James, who will play on the next level.

I could’ve sworn I read one time Many one of 2 high schools in that whole parish? That can help when it comes to loading up on talent.
When I was playing football Many was in our district and it was usually us or them at the top. They have been pretty solid the last 10-15 years.

Actually Many is the only school in parish with football. I agree that Tackett won't be at LSU unless Kelly gets serious about recruiting him. A restart is necessary such as driving the 3 1/2 hrs to Many and sitting down with Tackett and his family and having a serious talk. So much has been said that is so unfair to this young man and his family. 98% of our community is LSU crazy but we understand the situation. If anyone wants to experience small town football at its best come to Many this fall for a game. We are actually pretty nice folks who just love our hometown Tigers. By the way, you would also see at least 2-3 other future Div I prospects.

Many is the only school with football but there are 6 high schools in sabine parish, the other 5 being B or C schools

I hope the coaching staff can mend the relationship with Tackett because he is a stud.
And yes you are correct Many has a great football program and culture there. I played for Menard 2009- 2011 and we had a great rivalry with yall. Not sure if it’s still going.

Well, that's part of Kelly's job, to convince the best HS players in this State to come to LSU, and he has almost a year to get him to "change his mind," if in fact that is actually necessary.
So far, I have yet to see a single quote from this kid suggesting LSU is out of it, so until I do, everything on this board is pure speculation.
