If he couldn't beat out Jones, why would we be interested.

Cutcliffe gonna retire from Duke and replace Linehan as the PGC watch

Not a bad move if you really want to get Arch. The Mannings aren’t loyal to schools they are loyal to Cutcliffe. There is a chance that he will go somewhere else to play if Cutcliffe is still at Duke but as long as he is there he is the favorite in my opinion.

Mac Jones is not a terrible QB for one and I don’t know if you have looked at LSU’s roster lately but the QB depth doesn’t have a ton of experience on it. Even if he is ineligible for 2020 it would be good to have another with some college experience in the room then he would have 3 years to play 3.

that's actually a terrible reason to not go after him

Full disclosure: I don't think we should or will, but truly think about your reasoning here...

Probably the same people that said Burrow couldn’t beat out Haskins why would he make a difference here?

Probably, but he isn't even a junior yet.

He was 6'0 165 as a freshman last spring at an event. I'm assuming he's gained height and weight since then.
