all of that.

There is so much to understand that I don't understand.

Yes, I think Desmond Little has measurables and speed. But just can't find a spot.

Gaye needs to improve on Run....but 2020 was just a shite year. If there is any indicator of that, see Damone Clarks play in 2019 and see how his ability to be in position deteriorated in 2020.

I don't know what Jarell CHerry's role will be, but he was a MLB in HS, if I remember correctly. Now hes a 6-2 280 DE. I like the potential.

I hate the fact that TK McCLendon left.

Interested to see Joseph Evans since he lived in the backfield of his competition in High School (yes, i said HS, but that is all we have so far.)I like his leverage and he is only a sophomore. I want to see Bennie Logan-like improvement. Bennie was an unknown until his junior year.

On weak side, I assume that Soni is moving back to DL as as a WDE. He's got speed but can he play with hand down?

I think we are all glad about the depth since so many are an unknown. It's definitely better than being thin, right?

ETA....lastly, do youthink that BJ Ojulari could move to LInebacker?

I think he is a 3-4 OLB all the way. But that is no longer the system, so I don't know how he fits in. I hope we don't run to rigid a defensive scheme and the new staff is flexible enough to find a way to get the best players on the field in a way they can play to their strengths. BJ Ojulari looks like he is going to be a player that is to good to not be on the field.

Interestingly, my opinion is crap on this, but in a 4-3, if a WDE is too small, my assumption is that he may not transition to olb as that is a coverage position too.

MLB could be a place for Ojulari. I thought that about P Webb as well.

Looks good other than u having Brennan over johnson and emery over price. Both of those positions should be switched with johnson and davis starting imo.

People keep talking about our D Line but damn that O Line looks great to me. 4 seniors and a junior? Should really help our offense out. I hope John Emery breaks out this year, but I think our offense will be really good no matter what.

The defense is more of a wildcard but getting Mike Jones really helps

Agree. But the issue of the OLine on the RB is that those four seniors are gone and possibly one or two juniors could go early as well.

That is why the RB wanted more than just Dellinger and Makaneole....it wanted more than Leigh too.

The reason you want 15-17 OL is that you want to steadily add 3-4 every year. You don't want to be in a position where you have to take 5-6 for many reasons.

T
Cameron Wire 6-6 295
Marcus Dumerville 6-5 305
——Will Campbell 6-6 290 fr
G
Kardell Thomas 6-3 330
Kimo Makineole 6-5 290
——Lucas Taylor 6-3 310 fr
C
Charles Turner 6-4 285
Marlon Martinez 6-4 320

G
Thomas Perry 6-5 320
Anthony Bradford 6-5 345
——Bo Bordelon 6-5 270 fr (maybe a tackle)
T
Xavier Hill 6-3 300
Garret Dellinger 6-5 295

this class needs three more because we only took two this year. regardless of how many decided to return, it was optimal that we got one or two more for 2020.

hopefully Chasen Hines and Dare Rosenthal will opt to return for the 2022 season, but its doubtful. The situation for the OL for 2022 looks scary bad right now unless some of these guys have made, or do make, some huge strides between now and the start of the 2022 season and/or we better hit some home runs in the transfer portal for OL's to get us through the 2022 season or it could be a nightmare for whoever is playing QB (and the offense in general for that matter).
