Injuries happen. It is nothing to have 3 top backs on the roster. At any given time there seems to always be one that can't go on any given night. Steven Ridley broke into the lineup when everyone ahead of him was injured. He's still in the NFL going strong.

He tweeted earlier today that he isn't committing in the summer, and is probably waiting until the early signing period next year. I can only assume that's better for us, we need to recruit him hard.

He had a lot of interest well before we offered. He was very excited when the offer came and the interest is very real! If we press him and hire the right guy we have a great chance of landing him and a few other very very good targets. 2020 will be a great class and I saw in a different thread someone brought up Mekhail Sherman well he is very interested in LSU we have a fairly nice shot at getting him if we play our cards right

I think half of the battle this early on is just getting kids to have interest. Last year this time it was still an unknown how Coach O would lead this team. If you don't think he's done a good job making this team relevant again, just look at how many out of state recruits are tweeting #geauxtigers - If we can start landing some of these out of state 4 & 5 stars to go with the great talent in state, Coach O could really be building something great here. Obviously there is a long way to go between now and signing day in December, but he is off to a strong start which will benefit us down the road.
