Exactly. Cyril Grayson was a 400m guy coming out of high school. While at LSU he was mainly a 400m and relay guy. I don't believe Grayson ever ran a 100m at LSU and his only 200m time at LSU is a 21.33. This is a guy that ripped a 4.33 at LSU's pro day and is regarded as athletically explosive.

I guess what I'm saying is that based off of guys like Vincent and Grayson, Achane may well have 4.3 forty kind of speed - plenty fast enough to grab the attention of LSU recruitniks.

This staff learned it’s lesson, you can’t wait on a 5 Star guy when there’s plenty of talented fish in the sea that this program can go out and get.

They certainly seem to be doing an outstanding job of covering all bases and then some.

Coach O and his staff have been taking mostly studs regardless of star rating. As long as they like the guy we are getting, then no problem passing on the guys that are likely going to leave us at the alter last minute.

The outlier is the 10.82 100m time that I mentioned.

That time doesn't correlate particularly well with his 200m times.

I would expect a 10.4-10.5 type time like Trey Palmer given Achane's 200m times.

Just a little odd.

He would count against football. This is a rule to prevent teams from hoarding developing players on teams you don't give a shite about.

This kid looks electric. I love those highlights. He runs effortlessly. I hope LSU is strongly pursuing him.

Probably has a lot of work to do out of the blocks.

Looks like he just narrowed it down to LSU and A&M and moved his visit date to the bye week.
