With my next pick, I’ll take Bryson Shaw Safety Ohio State! He’s got good size and looks very fast in his highlights.
When I saw he was a white safety who almost chose to play college lacrosse, I was ready to see all the “hard worker” coach speak bs in his eval, but everyone praises his speed, acceleration, body control, tackling, and aggressiveness.

Got me interested enough to watch his highlights and I was very impressed. He’s fast and a playmaker. Ohio state liked him enough to accept his commitment in the summer while still recruiting a ton of elite safety prospects. With Ronnie Hickman still recovering from an ACL tear, Shaw should get tons of reps.

Maybe a reach here but at this point I figure if there’s somebody that sticks out to me, they probably stick out to somebody else too.

Joshua Harris, DT, NC State

Not the most athletic and he seemed to me like his pad level was high sometimes but holy hell this dude is strong. Will be a nice compliment to Sam Williams on my line

Been playing around with some stats around the draft. I'll throw out some updates every few rounds and then do a final post at the end.

I used the 247 Composite Scores for any of the analysis that has to do with comparing draft slot value. It's still a pretty small sample size, so a guy like Patrick Utschinki can really skew the numbers for WSU and the Pac-12 for example. It should even out towards the end of the draft though. Also, I excluded JUCO players for any of the stats that include rankings. I kept them for counting which schools and conferences have the most picks though.

1) SEC - 94

With the 10th pick of the 2019 RMD Draft... Reda selects....

Myron Warren, Defensive End, Texas!!!!!

Big. Strong. Speed. And regret by LSU by not offering him sooner. This prospect reminds me of Malcolm Roach last year who was a late add by Texas but really flourished in his scheme. Myron has long arms and speed to get by OT’s and wreak havoc. I hope this guy is a star outside of our September 7 showdown

Nice job putting in the work with that list.

Still pissed I missed on Sheridan Jones.

Couple things I take from that info:

Purdue has the same draftees as USC and Va Tech
Illinois has the same as Miami U and Ole Miss
Oklahoma and Oregon have pretty good classes
For all the shite they get, Tennessee and Florida State have more than Notre Dame

It's crazy that Oklahoma and Texas have 18 of the 23 picks from the Big-12. Talk about a top heavy conference.
