TDawg, how much of that is for real?? Is USC giving pacific islanders citizenship like Saban's giving out chargers?

I've heard it from 3 separate people. It's the worst kept secret in Pac-12 recruiting at the moment.

They're not actually going to do anything about it. They're just going to say, well, we tried to do it, but sorry it didn't work out. Thanks for coming to USC though.

Steal of the draft this far, IMO.
I certainly gave him some thought, but with all the turnover on that roster, I'm not sure I feel good about his first 2 seasons. Very talented though and crazy athlete. Good pickup no doubt.

tPOSMemphis just sent me his pick. I'm driving right now so I'll post his and mine in a few minutes boys.

The reason he flipped? He may or may not be here illegally as a citizen of New Zealand. USC's recruiter (Johnny Nansen, who used to be Sark's drinking buddy at UW) ended up making a promise that USC would be able to fix their status of being here illegally by getting him and his family Canadian citizenships and then Marlon a student visa to attend USC as a Canadian citizen. Marlon wanted to still go to UW, but his family made the decision for him to flip to USC based on them all getting Canadian citizenships. The UW coaching staff wasn't willing to make that same promise because there's no way it will actually work, otherwise he would have stuck with UW. The furthest UW was willing to go was to just work on getting him a student visa as a New Zealand citizen.
That is crazy. I knew he was commited to UW and flipped late but had no idea on the rest.

I will donate my 1st round pick of Aubrey Solomon to JamalSanders if Johnny Nansen is able to get the Tuipulotu family Canadian citizenships
I could use another DT. I also need another OLB after one of mine last year has apparently dropped off the face of the earth.

Memphis selects Andrew Thomas, OT Georgia
I'll be coning back with my pick in a few.

Verlander,
I drafted Brandon peters last year...what can you tell me about his progression and his chances of playing this year?

jembeurt selects Austin Deculus, OT LSU
He shouldn't be here, IMO. I may be off base, but he's worthy of being selected earlier than falling to me in the second round. He's one of the strongest recruits and has dominated camps with other 5 star defensive athletes. He'll be starting at guard this year for the Tigers.
I had a guy ready to select and now I have to play the waiting game.

Speight is the guy for the next 2 years. Peters should start in 2019 as a RS junior. Looooooove his upside, he's got all the tools and with Harbaugh coaching him up and the receivers we've recruited no reason to think he won't be great

Well jembeurt just derailed my plans to select a road grader from LSU for my RB.
So I'll go to my Plan B, which is a good Plan B. I select Wyatt Davis OG Ohio St.
This kid is a monster at 6'5" 310lbs. 247, Scout and Rivals have him the top rated OG in the country. ESPN at 3. This dude is a flat out hoss.
