Deon Jones- CB- Maryland.
Early enrollee but is rehabbing a surgery on a torn ACL. He's planning to be 100% by fall camp but may end up redshirting.

jembeurt selects O'Rien Vance, OLB Iowa State
So when I saw that he only had one scholly offer, and that being to Iowa St, I decided to research the guy. Apparently, they jumped on board a couple years ago, when he was basically quoted as saying that he hated school, which at the time he wasn't going to qualify for college. Well, after he was told what he could lose, he did something about it. His grades improved, and so did the schools coming to court him, like many schools from the big 12 and big 10. However, since Iowa St stuck by him early and afterward, he said no thanks to every other school. Let's see if it pays off for him.
Not to mention the guy is very disruptive on the field at the OLB spot.

David Adams ILB Notre Dame.
Going to draft a 3-4 and now I have the Quarterback of my defense so to speak.

WTF who do you think you are? Me.

I'm super intrigued post some highlights. Does he play another sport?

O'Rien Vance
Nothing great, but again, he's pretty disruptive. I just liked his story and all behind him sticking with Iowa St that I'm rolling the dice.
Not to mention EVERY other OLB guy I scouted has been sniped, so I wanted to get at least one of them.

Dammit... Was going to move Walter Grant back to the outside for this guy if he made it back around. Strong pickup. Tore his UCL to start his senior season and played through the year with a brace on it. Definitely had some impact on his rating drop.

Kept looking at him and then talking myself out of him. Skillset and video looks great, but it's freaking Rutgers... not sure I have confidence in him getting the opportunities to showcase his talents. Hope I'm wrong though!

jembeurt selects Caleb Farley ATH/WR Virginia Tech
Here's another kid that when you see his film, you can't believe he only has a few offers. Well turns out that as soon as he committed to Va Tech early last year, he too told all other schools to take a hike and he stopped reporting offers. It wasn't until his performance at the Shrine Bowl practices and game, that he became a 4 star athlete. His speed and quickness on a football field is pretty stunning. He will be a WR in college, so when he continues to work on getting softer hands, the sky may be the limit for this young man.
