I'll be updating and selecting in a few guys.

LarryD asked for a bump a little while ago.
jembeurt selects Darryl DJ Turner, Slot WR Maryland
I missed out on J.D. Spielman, so instead of waiting another couple of rounds, I'll take his replacement now. This kid broke his leg right by the ankle in the first quarter of the first game this season. Before that, he had a great JR. year and was a "fast riser" after The Opening in Oregon. He was all set to blow up his SR. and would've been rated much higher.
He is thickly built and could play defense if they see that will be his best position. He is already catching footballs and doing some running, so his rehab is definitely right on schedule.

I was hoping that he'd slide down into the consolation rounds. I really like him, but I try not to draft too many UW guys, otherwise I would have picked him up a few rounds ago. He's ready to go physically and is already enrolled. I don't think he starts right away, but he will definitely be on special teams this coming season. He might work his way into a starting role later on in the season.

Is going to be a beast. Still mad Auburn didn't pursue him. He was going to be my next pick.

Sorry for the delay. I'll take JUCO TE Dontae Jones Mississippi State. The Bulldogs seem excited about this guy and I could use some instant impact at TE. Seems like every other year whoever I pick at TE is a basket case.
I can name 3 guys who left school because of legal issues.

OBUDan Selects:
CJ Pollard, S, USC
Pollard is a guy that can really turn out to be a great two-way safety. He's got good coverage instincts, but he's more than willing to come up and lay a hit in run support. He's also an EE, so I think his path to the field will be fairly short.

On a lighter note, we are ahead of last year's pace.
Last year, at the end of page 34, we were on the 3rd pick of Round 14. We are 38 selections ahead of that mark. I do feel like we've had some good chatting in this thread which I figured would've amounted to this thread being longer. I guess it wasn't as much as I thought.
Also, last year's draft started on 02/09, and at the end of page 34 was 02/20. This year we started 02/08 and we are now 02/18. I'd like to think that it's because y'all are more prepared and making selections quicker. Either that or it's me busting y'alls arse into getting said picks in sooner!
Let's keep it up guys as this is the part where it becomes easier to just say "bump me till later". It's also easy to get a long list of guys at the positions you need left to fill and have it available to end the draft. As I stated before, I'm not the biggest fan of bumping people and also not a huge fan of having to post your picks for you. Remember, every selection that is made, I am having to post that in 4 different places. I do this so we try to limit the amount of re-picks as much as possible. I get real busy too at times and that's when the updating suffers.
Anyway, thanks for making this draft run smoothly and let's finish this thing up.
