One back system is great for the college stats, but injury and burn-out might not be good for the pro's(hope Lattimore can make it back). Rotation of backs can lower College numbers, but get you a longer pro career. Its a balance that one has to think about, and their lives after football.

This. Each system has its advantages.

yeah but think about it. Most backs, great backs to so so, want to see 15-20 a game. They don't want to rotate with 4-5 other guys. I think the most effective backfield is a 1-2 punch, a change of pace, and a backup getting carries when somebody else is hurt.

i like LSU's system. Here the question is who will be the featured back .....The featured back gets a bulk of the carries...Blue before the injury, Spencer Ware after until Hill surfaced. everyone else get a series here and there(Hilliard, Ford, Mcgee). Rbs stay fresh through out the game. LSU's philosophy , if we offer you a scholarship and you are good enough to maintain your skill set...the things that you do best...YOU WILL PLAY...
however, as someone mentioned above, the Tigers have a new OC so we really dont know if he will buy into the rotating backs system.

Got ya Jrevonte.
Good point. The only time that i saw less mismanage the stable was in the bowl game against Clemson. Gave the game away instead of feeding the backs to close out the game, especially Hill who killinem.
