Probably trout fishing at 10,000 feet in the Rockies.
Side note, Roger, starting to plan an Alaska trip for 2017. I have many questions lol.
Really interested in some sort of guide or charter, mind giving me your email address?

re: BH "still just a true sophomore QB"

Malik Zaire was a FROSH last year.
He was a sophomore.
Redshirt sophomore.
Point taken though, young guys can have success.
Salmon's link of the DT QBs from 2014 actually surprised me. I don't see a lot of names that scream "current impact starter at a major program."
Admittedly, I don't watch a ton of college ball outside of the SEC, but for example:
#1 and #3 have been covered.
#2- DT QB Jerrod Heard isn't currently the starter at Texas, though he may be soon.
#4- Justice Hansen transferred from OU to Butler Community College in Kansas
#5- Morgan Mahalak is I guess 3rd on the depth chart for Oregon.
Pro Style QB list in '14 is similar:
#1- Kyle Allen A&M starter
#2- Will Grier UF starter
#3- Keller Chryst 3rd at Stanford
#4- David Cornwell 5th at Bama
#5- Jacob Park transferred from UGA to Navarro College
On both lists 2/5 have made the jump to starter by the beginning of their second year on campus. I would say only 1 of those 4 has been exceptional to date, though the other 3 seem pretty strong.
The takeaway is what we already knew. It's extremely difficult to be a successful college QB, particularly as a first or second year player, guys get better with age and experience. Watson, Zaire, Rosen are exceptions as someone else said.
To answer the OP, while the scheme at LSU appears to be difficult for QBs to pick up and defenses in the SEC don't do anyone any favors, I agree with your confusion. I see young QBs succeeding and think "my god if we could get that kind of play out of our guy..."
No one argues Harris has the talent, here's to him takes the next step on Saturday.

That stuff is an amazing sauce for fish tacos in a pinch.
Got a knockoff recipe you'd care to share?

Probly just Artie's and maybe some crabbing.

Family and I went to La Toque in Napa for dinner a couple years ago when we were out there for Don Chowder's wedding.
It was 5 courses and you had a couple options for each. We didn't do the tasting that accompanied it, but a couple of those dishes are still some of the best things I've ever tasted.
Food in general was great out there.

Says AD may have grown over 6'10" and that his wingspan was reported by Pelicans as growing from 7'5.5" pre-draft to 7'7.75" before this season.

re: Crawfishing this weekend?
Posted by the mean bean on 2/20/15 at 9:52 am to jimbeam
I figured it would be a pain in the arse too. Didn't know if it would be worth going drop, going back to get my fishing gear then doing the same at the end of the day.
The main thing was didn't know how many traps it would take, I've only done ditch nets really, so that probably makes the decision easy.
When in doubt ask the OB.

This thread got me thinking.
I planned on doing some yak fishin in the basin this spring and I've thought about crawfishin there before.
Would it be worth tossing some traps out in the morning and picking them up in the afternoon after fishing, or would they need to sit longer?
How many traps would probably be needed to just get a sack or two?
If so, what kind of traps would be best to use and transport via kayak? And lastly, does anyone have a rec on where to buy if this is not a waste of time?
TIA OB

Broken Bow, OK is my only experience. Should be 3-4 hours away though. Cold water trout streams if you're into fly fishing. Broken Bow lake is supposed to have good fishing as well but never been.

The number of police there made me wonder the same thing. Had to be a lot more than an ordinary house call.

Heading down in the morning, assuming accident and all is cleared, didn't know about the 308 closure though.
So stay on 90 and cross to 1 or just cross any bridge from 308 to 1 before I hit Valentine?

What's the best route? I know go up 61 to Tunica Trace (66) but I've never been to the actual rodeo and I'm going this weekend.
So y'all are saying just skeet out a little early so I can get back to a football friendly place?

I hate bringing in guys who need to add 30-40 lbs to their frame. The seem like a project more than anything else, and if you go by history, our OL projects don't pan out.
Bennie Logan (3*, 272 lbs according to rivals) and Michael Brockers (4*, 255 according to rivals ) worked out OK. Brockers was listed at 280 by the time he arrived as a freshman. Just sayin.
edit: You said O linemen, my bad. No examples to offer there.
re: Yard moles ... How to get rid of them?
Posted by the mean bean on 11/19/13 at 9:37 am to tigamike
The family beagle has always been pretty effective, and she does a fine job of destroying the old man's back yard in the process.
It slopes down to the lake and is rife with the ugly bastards. Damned if she doesn't get one now and again, but the pure joy that dog exudes while barking and methodically tossing dirt around all frickin day makes me insanely jealous.
There is literally a 1917 German-style WWI trench across the bottom of the yard.
