I think Ibarra will stay; however if LSU goes deep into the post season and he gets a favorable spot he'll bolt.

Didnt Ibarra tell PM two weeks ago he would be coming back?

Exactly, which is why the Fraley emails do not mean a whole lot to me. It's just another way to say, "if you pick me it isn't going to be cheap". See Josh Bell a couple years ago. Bell still got picked and paid, but for Fraley that could mean he drops like a rock now if they do not think he is worth whatever demand he has.

I got a Galaxy S4 the other day. Apparently it has trouble receiving messages from iPhones users

I've missed 2 booty calls because of it. They were large girls so I wasn't too mad

Back to the point. Does anyone really think Ibarra will get drafted high enough to bolt? Also, if so...is an incoming freshman going to replace him?

Ibarra and Ross will be at LSU next year. Moore will replace Katz. Dean will replace Jones. Fraley will replace Rhymes.

ETA: This is just speculation that Williams and Longhi go pro

Ibarra I could see coming back, but there is virtually no chance Ross is back.

Ross is gone, no reason to come back. And Williams won't make it to LSU whether he signs pro or not. He's got just about zero grades. If he doesn't sign he'll probably end up at JC in Nevada to play in the wooden bat league out there, on the advice of his future agent, whoever that may be.

I agree with Ross leaving.. Ibarra is a Blair Barbier type with limited upside at 3rd, if a team thinks he can handle 2nd in pro ball he hits more than enough to take him. LaMarche is the interesting one to me, I think he may go based on arm strength alone. Toss up on Longhi, Fraley.. Williams long gone IMO..

I believe LaMarche is gone also. He was what...19th round last year? And that was after his first season returning from TJ surgery without impressive juco results. He definitely hasn't done anything this season to hurt his stock and should only see an improvement.

Could Dean be considered for 1B if Longhi signs? Who will be Moore's competition there next season?

It could depend on which bats from other positions they want to get in the lineup. Maybe Barash or Chinea, depending on which one doesn't win the catching job, and possibly someone like DeHart.

We're going to be extremely deep and there will be a lot of options in the lineup and on the mound. Some tough decisions will have to be made in the Fall.

Ibarra will be back
I could see Glenn possibly going depending on where he gets drafted.

Draft day 1 in the books, Williams the only pick so far. Big day tomorrow.
