2. Cole Pittman, 6-3, 260, 4.8, Shreveport Evangel, La.: Florida State (childhood fave, "Florida State is the No.1 defensive end team in nation.", will visit) leads lightly over Nebraska (will visit), Notre Dame (will visit, possibly at LSU game - 11/21, not Catholic), LSU, Ohio State and Florida. "I would love to be in a Christian environment." 3.4/18.

It's nice to see this name again. For those that don't know, his death is an amazing story. His brother was my favorite player at LSU. Do yourself a favor and learn the about the Pittman family. RaisingCole.com

Chase was a huge recruit for Texas too and maybe the best non-JUCO transfer I can recall for LSU. Solid player for us.

People forget about Toefield but he still has the TD record for us in a season. Guy was a beast and with Davis they created one of the best tandems ever for us. Edwards was a solid TE and I watched this guy slay pussy around campus personally. Like he didn't care that the door was open at a party kind of guy. Back when we actually used our TE.

Saban definitely had talent when he arrived. I don't think anyone will argue that. Dinardo recruited well but his development and coaching hires killed him.

Walter young signed baseball for $10k. Saban would have just given him more if he were here.

Some good names. When I was a kid I thought Cedric Cobbs and William Green were going to be transcendent RB's

A lot of these guys didn't even light up a starting roster. Remember when Major Applewhite had to come off the bench and bail out Chris Simms in the Holiday Bowl? Simms was never as good of a QB. Walter young played baseball. Bruce Thornton got into UGA and was moved to CB. Was average as grits.
