What about safety? We weren't exactly stellar at that position last year.

Never mind the two studs we have coming in that are very highly ranked, but y’all keep sleeping on Langlois too. Kid is going to surprise a bunch of people.

A TE with at least two years might not be the worst idea. T Moss type I hope.

Oline or wait.
Agree but with a caveat...

If there's a C, with at least 2 years, who can step in and start if needed. And I mean as of the last day of spring camp, not in Nov., then do it.

If it is an OT or OG, I'd rather develop our own. Our protection schemes are not the easiest to lean AND mesh with the other 4 AND relatively inexperienced QB.

Since all our starters are coming back we have the luxury of being able to both mentally and physically and technically develop our own. The "value" of that one spot, with that luxury, lies in starting fresh with a high ceiling guy.

Actually they were #1 and #2 at one point but other players rose above them in rankings

If we could land a stud OL then it would be worth it. Of course, if the stud LB from Tennessee comes calling, we take him in a second! All depends of level of talent.

I don't want to use it for an offensive lineman this year. Everyone returns, including a few solid backups. You want to throw some of the young guys in the fire this year if you have injuries so that they're ready the following year.

I'm also not big on taking another LB. We should be ok there now with Strong, Jones, Baskerville, and Clark plus Sampah, White, and Webb. You have experience and young depth there, too, now.

I think you hold onto the last spot. If you have injuries in the spring, or have obvious holes, you go after a plug and play wherever that's needed. Ideally, we get out of the spring healthy and you save the spot for next year - we're going to need at least 1 spot for a plug and play OL next year.
