175lbs is hard to play RB in the SEC. That's the reason, and questions about production against the schedule his school plays, should have had HUGE numbers. I think that's why he hasn't seen any big offers
size and production questions...

What type of production did Michael Ford put up in high school? He was from leesville. Basically same as Vinton

He put up big numbers in high school, but ford was built like a machine coming out of high school and was much more physical than St. julien. Their speed was also comparable.

I see a kid with decent hips and a good stride. Being 6'1 is ok as long as he doesn't grow anymore. If he's 190 he can easily be 210ish in college. Bring him into camp and see how hard he works vs the other cats. If he loves to work he's a take.

5-11, 175
If true, he's a take at slot. He's not an SEC running back at 175.

He also just ran a 4.45 over the weekend in the 40

But AJ Carter is a man amongst boys. He will lead state in rushing without a doubt.
One can argue his competition is similar to that of Tony St. Juliens

Which is awesome and why I said I wouldn't mind taking him at slot/returner. The same day he apparently weighed in at 175. That's all well and good in 2A, but not the SEC.

Anyone seen him up close because I just read he checked in at 5-11, 175 at the Dallas Opening. Ran a 4.45 too, fastest 40 there I believe.

Well then someone lying because according to this article this kid is a tad under 6'2" (basically 6'1") and weighs 200 pounds
They haven't posted anything yet except headshots. He looks closer to 175 than 200 to me.

yeah, I could agree with that. I think Smith is def wrong about him being close to 200 pounds, I would say he's in the 180 to 190 range, but he is about 6'1" going by everything. He will can a lot more weight in college, but looking at his film I think he can be a really good RB at the next level.

Nike apparently disagrees. They measured him at 5'11" 174.

yeah, I caught that after I had already posted, just goes to show you how inaccurate people can be. Smith should do his home work much better before putting out shite. 5'11" 174 is a long way from 6'1" 200, the idiot.

I don't blame Jimmy. He's likely just talked to the kid on the phone.

I don't know anything about Vinton's competition, but Many schedules lots of 3A and 4A competition pre-district.

Leesville was 4A and Vinton is 3A.
