"with the potential to earn his 5th star"
if he commits to Bama he will get that 5th star from Rivals for sure.

Jordan Allen was the only Junior to make the All State defensive team. I think he will be highly recruited next year. He has already visited LSU.

Allen has a good chance of being the top D player in the state next year. As a junior, he had 60 tackles, 10 tfl, 9 sacks...all coming against good competition.
Offense...either T Reed or Broadway.

OT prob, DT if he stays on defense

What makes you think this? I don't see this kid going to OL...that's just what I think.
By the way...Allen is a lock to LSU

not explosive enough. Too tall for DE
has a perfect OL frame

Broadway is the real deal. Saw him play as a Sophmore at Capital and came away thinking he's going to make someone a terrific college Quaterback one day. He has great athletic ability, a big time arm, and an extra pair of eyes (the kid always gets away from the blitz). They tell me is an A student and works out twice a day when most kids work out a few times a week. Anyone who is associated with the kid can't stop talking about his leadership qualities.

2 of his cousins come to my house on a weekly basis...ALL LSU.

Dandy told me #1 on his list for 2010 is a Ricky Dixon/Will Blackwell-caliber player.

too tall? 6'6 isn't too tall to play DE, assuming he won't get much taller...if he is listed at 6'6 he is very likely shorter than that due to what are usually embellished published measurables... now if he were 6'8, sure
I like taller ends and I like shorter DTs, actually
I agree this kid probably is not quite the athlete to play DE, and OT makes a lot of sense

...that he is from WM, hence an LSU Lock

If you look at his body type, he could add 30-40lbs and still be plenty fast enough to play LT. I think he'll develop nicely. He reminds me a lot of Whitworth when he was the same age at WM. (Remember Whit was a holdback)
