Ever heard of the “Chekhov’s Gun” principle?

I know you may not be able to parrot exactly what his brother said because it could compromise Evans, but you’ve at least got to give a vague description of the methods of which you’re speaking. Are they just negatively recruiting against other schools? Creating or perpetuating false narratives about programs, coaches, players? Committing possible recruiting violations? WHAT IS IT?

It probably includes bank fraud, wire fraud, payroll tax fraud, think southern soprano's. Pay parents, not filing taxes, false reporting on bank docs....you know the Bama way.

Getting the #1 RB this cycle would be beyond awesome but I’d honestly be just as satisfied with Keyvone Lee or Ashaad Johnson. As I’m sure the staff would be also

Would we take Evans and another RB?

With the limited numbers left I can’t see taking 2. That big TE or another OL would be a bigger need. Next year we need 2. IMO

I understand and I’m not trying to be argumentative, but

What if Ashaad Johnson commits to us next week.

Then Zach Evans wants to commit to us next month.

What do we do?

I don't think we would take Johnson's commitment.

We would tell Johnson to hold off until Evans commits and then if Evans picks somewhere else we take Johnson

Commitments from Roy, Guillory, Van Pran, and Dumervil would be huge. I’ve said before Evans is a potential game changer on every single play. I’ll admit idk much about Ashaad but him or Keyvone seem like both very solid backs if we miss on Evans and Milton which is seeming more likely now for Milton. I like Koy personally he’s been tearing up the top corners in the camps. Seems highly underrated I would like him in this class over another DB even given the caliber of receivers we have committed. This is getting exciting.

Man I just share articles and info I read. I’m not up close with anybody particularly close with the program though. If I see anything I’ll be sure to share it though. Personally I trust whatever Vol is saying.

You’d figure they’d have learned their lesson from that by now but I guess not. Johnson and Lee are very solid backs. I just hope we don’t wait too long
