My folks in Quail Ridge in Slidell said power went out within the last hour. Winds gusting around 40mph steadily. Water from swamp being pushed up in the lower part of their yard. They're at almost 14" so they're not too worried yet. The West Pearl River only about a 1/4 mile away and it's getting water pushed upstream.

Lost power in Greenleaves about 30 minutes ago. Hope not for long.

Looks to be more of a rain event for most of us at this point, but if this continues for 24 hours, I would think flooding will start to become an issue. I'm also guessing working in Slidell Tom is probably out. Any word on st Tammany schools for the rest of the week?

Oh OK. Just down the road then. We lost power earlier for about 30 seconds. But I'm sure it'll be out sometime today

My house is on 22 at the parish line. I left Monday evening and drove the family to Shreveport with the in-laws, mostly due to the pregnant wife's request.
I'm tuned into this thread, so please keep the updates coming. I will most likely return tomorrow at some point and will be more than happy to assist anyone with anything to recover from this storm.

Same here. Looks like we lost power at some point, but it wasn't enough to wake me up.

We're in the Colony section of Greenleaves. Almost time to get the generator out.

My neighbor was staying, but I haven't heard from her yet.
I'm in a new subdivision on 22. House was built 2 years ago, we have underground electrical service, and no trees. I wouldn't be surprised to have shingle damage, but don't expect flooding.
