Cdawg:
My house is off of 22 under the water tower at the parish line. Neighbor says everything is good there. Still have all utilities.

I'm headed back today.... How can I get to my house? Is 1085 passable to 22, or should I get off at Robert and go up 22 East? Is that portion of 22 ok?

Good to hear. My fiancee's family lives in that newer area by that water tower.

Waiting to move in. House in the process of being built off Loriet. Also worried about all my stuff sitting over in the Liberty storage right up the road.

The inspector told me that area was the highest around and would not see water during a 100 year event. It looks like he knew his shite. I'd imagine property in the budding metropolis of Bedico will be at a premium in the future.

TWC saying that some pumps failed in Slidell. Cantore is actually headed to the Northshore to report on it (that's never a good thing). Apparently it's a mess already or about to be one south of Fremeaux.

I don't know if you have internet but do a bing map search they have listed road closures and road issues. I'm not sure if it its the most up to date thing ever but atleast you can know if some of those roads are closed.

btw 1077 is closed between collen ct and LA 22 that is the only road information I have of the area, that I think you are in.

They're only removing west of Ponchartrain Drive right now. Downtown on alert. Eden Isles and Oak Harbor ok for now.

Water is moving from north to south? I think they just said - So it sounds like the bayous backing up.

Any news on how much the river has come up. I spoke to a buddy last night who described it as "pretty fricking high". He lives in the back of Del Oaks and his yard drops probably 15 vertical ft from the slab to 1ft above the normal river height 200ft back.

Has anybody in W. St. Tammany had power restored. Wondering if crews are out working yet?
