My cat got out, when I went outside to turn the breaker off and start the generator. I was surprised he ran out in the rain. I can't find him now, it sucks for a pet to get out in this.

That sucks man - hope you find it.

I hope your cat is okay! Do they have a collar? I'm sorry that happened

Yeah... Cats are pretty hardy though. We had 2 cats that strictly lived outside back in 2005, and they both weathered Katrina. One still hangs around to this day.

We have other cats that are outside now too, and I was concerned about them. We can't bring them inside, so I can only hope that they can handle themselves. (They usually go under our house since it's raised.)

You have no right to trespass on property and steal an animal.
A little wind and rain isn't gonna hurt fido. He probably has a house and food and water.
And someone might be home and justifiably shoot your trespassing arse.

I left one of the garage doors cracked open for him. I guess I'll risk the damage from that to give him a place to go.

The cat doesn't wear a collar, but is chipped.

I think he will be fine.
Sucks though, my bird flew away in katrina and my cat got out for this thing.
Plus I'm sure the flapping soffit that is being ripped off of my house is going to keep it scared as is my loud arse generator.

If you have no intent to permanently deprive them of the dog it is not stealing. And it is not justifiable to shoot someone in your yard. Go get the dog.

You loot. I shoot.

And it isn't even raining there. My God. Do all of y'all's poodles live indoors and sleep in your beds?
Dogs aren't some fragile china dolls. If there was some imminent danger, it would be one thing.
But laffy isn't getting shite.

If it's in BR it's supposed to get a lot worse tonight, if they really left it out for the night, that's awful

It's in laffy pumpkins. They aren't getting much more than a stiff breeze. Trespassing is trespassing. The dog is in absolutely no danger.
