Can I just boil the water and slowly pour it over the coffee in the filter?

Put the filterbin a strainer, hold it over the pot. Should work

They even sell a mechanism to do this.
Single cup coffee is big out here.

This type of thing is why I don't understand why any house in South LA has electric burners. Gas > electric.

Just dump the coffee grounds in the cup and drink it through your teeth like a real man

Wouldn't you rather boil it with the grinds and then pour through a filter?
You'll prob need less grinds though.

just put a pinch of grinds inbetween your cheek and gum... you will feel the buzz in a matter of seconds...
