We have a leak coming from under the floor boards. We have it confined to the corner of the room with a sort of towel levee but the towels are soaked and the water is starting to seep through.

I have cinder blocks and a bag of garden soil. That's all I can think of that I have that would maybe be helpful. In lakeview and this nonstop rain is killing it. Any suggestions?

Go outside and see if there's a weep hole in the bricks on the wall nearest the leak. If so - temporarily plug the weep hole. If there's no weep hole visible - It may be below ground or a problem with your foundation.

Turn off your water to the house at the meter to see if it stops. Might hve a cracked water line.

Thanks for all the responses. Almost positive it's a foundation issue because once the rain stopped the water stopped coming in. I ended up just scooping water for an hour. Checked on it throughout the night and all was good.

So done with Isaac.
