I doubt it, I'm pretty sure after Katrina/Gustav they tacked on a few minutes to the school day to give them some lead-way

Here's why I would day NO (but EBR is funny...and have made some silly decisions in the past):
Many teachers will be without power still; same for students
Many teachers will use a sick day tomorrow. Not likley that many substitutes would want to come into work after all this.
The students that do show up -- likley half to 65 percent, which is very many missing.
It's not like working conditions aren't going to be decent by tomorrow, but jeez...if they open up for one day prior to a long weekend, they're really naive. Nothing's going to get done as far as any assesments or exams or covering new material.
If WBR closed, EBR needs to go ahead and close as does LSU.

Nope. Ebr has 2 built in contingency days, after that, days are added at the end of the school year.
