6 is a little early IMO

I agree. I think the last time I had a 6 PM curfew I was five.

Well there goes my plan to hang out at my friends 500 yards away. There's regular electricity and liquor there too.

Someone should tell him it's not the DA's job to make laws. They enforce existing laws.

I am fine with the curfew. ZERO reason to be out now. Going to a friends house is not a good reason.

You said there was zero reason and then gave a reason in your next sentence.

I may be wrong, but I bet there are many that will post in this thread that a curfew is not needed are many of the same people calling for, "let Darwinism take its course" for all those people in South LA that did not adhere to the mandatory evacuation notice.

Yes, a 6PM curfew is probably going to mess with a lot of people's personal lives. But, if you consider that many of the first responders have been on call for about 48 hours to prepare and support the public before and during this storm - I am sure they are stretched thin. A curfew is an attempt to control as much of the chaos as possible. Sure, it means you can't go get shite-kickin drunk with your bestie/bromance of the month, but in the end, it will probably allow LE to support the community a little better.
