Hoping my flight out of Nola tomorrow isn't cancelled but also worried about actually getting to Nola with 10 being closed. Any help on this would be appreciated.

I12 to Slidell. Then i10 to NO. Is open now

Hard to say.
Right now I think all main routes are closed.
The twin span in Slidell is currently the only way to get in, but they think it will close soon.
Your best bet tomorrow will be I-12/I-55.

Slidell option is close to being closed.
OP: hold tight. Causeway is being inspected at this time and should be re-opened in a couple of hours. Take 12 to Mandeville, then Causeway to Metry when it re-opens.
Slidell is getting more water and will be screwed for a while.

Is that something in the press conference now that I missed?
Because just before they had confirmation from state troopers that multiple points on the route from BR and NO on airline are closed.

I just asked a Wildlife and Fisheries agent in Laplace
He said they cleared it and it is now open.

My dad had emergency surgery last night. Heading down to Nola from Denham springs in an hour or so. I will let you guys know how I make it there.

Hoping by the end of the day the routes are open. Still have a feeling the airport is going to screw me though.

The direct I-10 route is going to be down for at least a week....

I'm in the same boat, but I'm flying into NOLA early tomorrow. Working on finding a way for her to get down there in the morning, if I can even make it.

You can take I-10 to the Gramercy airline exit, then go down and take the vet memorial bridge to 3127 and hit 310

This is what I was going to suggest.

just going by the LADOT map of closures, that looks like it might work...

Probably the safest route at this point as far as road closures go.
