Window Replacement

I'd like to replace the front facing windows of our house with more aesthetic looking windows. Our current windows have a grey metal frame with a divider between the two windows. I'm looking to remove the divider to make one large window and upgrade the frame to match our house. The two companies that I hear the most about are Pella and Relief. Was wondering if anyone could recommend either of these or any others that may be good in the BR area. Thanks

I used Relief Windows 5 years or so ago. Can't remember exactly. I have had no issues with the Wincore windows. I was mostly pleased with the installation, but I did watch over them and reminded them to follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions- they began doing things slightly different from the manufacturer’s instructions, but did change and do it the way I asked. This was mostly with respect to screw placement when hanging the windows.
They were not the cheapest, but were a lot less than Pella - about half the price.

Tommy's Windows and Doors
We used him and very happy with products and service provided and was less than the others you mentioned.

Pella windows are amazing.

Relief did ours and like mentioned above wasn't the cheapest. I was impressed with their service and Brandon the owner came out to do the measurements to ensure everything went without issue. I recommend them to anyone that is thinking of getting new windows. Also had them do three French doors too.

Relief in BR is 10x better than the local Pella outfit. I spent over $10k on windows with Pella several years ago and learned my lesson. The windows are fine, but cheap for what you pay and their installers are horrible. I had to have 2 of their windows warrantied in the first year due to installation issues.

The Pella in BR in now corporately owned. Completely new staff and new installers.

KC South owned everything when I used them. Their windows are still overpriced. I had relief replace pella windows that were barely a year old. Never again.

We just had Newsouth windows installed and they seem to be really efficient. I think they go all over the south east . The sales men are very pushy but we ended up going with them for the warranty. They claim to have a life time warranty no matter what happens to the window . They were cheaper then Lowe’s installing Pella windows. They all had long lead times of around 3 months .
