I would do "C" where the flag will not get hung up on the roof. Better yet put one on a pole in your front yard. This is what I just did.

Yea, C would be my vote for your house. I have mine at B but my house is not as flat as yours up front.

Thanks for all the responses. C was actually my last choice, but y’all convinced me it might be the best choice. The only thing stopping me from doing C is if I decide to place a small tree in the flower bed right in front of there.

I say C would be the best location cause it tends to be more centered. That brilliant red, white and blue will enhance the whole house which by the way is quite lovely.
