Where to get weed free silt?

I am looking for silt to build up a permanent, in-ground flower bed. I'm looking for actual dirt (i.e. not some type of composted forest product). For actual dirt that means my choices are clay, silt, or sand. Of those, my understanding is that silt is far and away the best choice for growing plants.
I know Cleggs sells river silt, but even Cleggs admits their river silt is full of weeds. Is there any place that I can get silt that is weed free?

any wild harvested product will be full of weed seeds.
i suggest you get a pile of mason sand, a pile of composted manure and a pile of peat moss, and mix it yourself

No such thing as “weed free” silt and even if there was it wouldn’t be weed-free for long.
What’s wrong, in your mind, with using bulk “garden mix” or “garden soil” (composted forest products with sand added) for landcape beds? Landscapers been using this product for decades - I’ve probably bought 30+ yards of the product in the past 4 years re-doing or creating new landscape beds at my house. Landscape shrubs, etc grow extremely well in this product, and for the most part it has minimal weed seeds in it.

This right here is the best. I have a soil mix spec that i've been using for years that is basically 1/3 organic soil, 1/3 sand, 1/3 existing soil (if available)
