I have 2 trees in my backyard that are wreacking havoc on my deck and house. My furniture looks like it has been through a war with the pecan tree . Will these drop all summer or should it be finishing up soon?

Don’t worry. All of its limbs will fall off soon enough.

Pecan trees are not good trees to have in yard.Get aphids and drip sticky shite all over everything.Get a little age on them and limbs get brittle and fall on your roof.

I share plenty, as well as sell a lot of them

its just that people expect me to shell them for them which is ridiculous

My trees don't start dropping till October and last till December or January. We've picked over 1000# off of 4 trees last year and more than that the year before.

Native trees drop from Mid Sept to as long as late Dec.

Grafted trees drop from Sept till about Mid Nov.

This year looks to be a very good pecan crop year. Last two sucked. I have over 300 trees, most are native that I have picked every year.

The ones dropping now are probably small and not edible. Gonna be another month at least, for good ones

Any reasonable suggestions for treating pecan scab?
