Without harming the stuff that’s supposed to be there? I’ll pull it, or hit with with round up in spots but it constantly comes back! Any ideas sort of diesel??

Maybe, Grass B Gone by Ortho. It can be used in landscaping beds.

Welcome to my world. I loathe that stuff. Any plant that can get me to spray RoundUp was clearly sent by the devil. I pull it away from my bushes, and spot spray wherever possible. Of course, pulling just sends it into overdrive, and you’ll be back spraying it again in short order. Prayers sent.

I asked before for help with that. Paving your yard was suggested.

I grow a pretty big vegetable garden and have, over the years dealt with just about every invasive weed you can think of. Torpedo grass, nut grass, bush killer vine, oxalis, purslane, etc. and it is a never-ending battle.
Seems just when I get one weed under control, or at least manageable, something else comes along and takes hold.

Pretty much what you’re doing, the highest labeled rate of glyphosate, with repeated applications. You can also use sethyoxidim in a landscape bed without harm to the desirable shrubs (but not ornamental grasses) to suppress it. No silver bullet for torpedograss.
