Looking for a relatively inexpensive battery powered weed eater. What you got? this one would be used for around the house and beds. I’d convert gas one over with the blades to do the ditches and brush line
What size box garden is easiest to maintain? I’m thinking of building some 4x8 or 12 ft ones. Live in a spot that can hold water after a good rain, so elevating them is crucial.
Appreciate the help!

I've had the Ryobi 18v weed eater for 7 years without a single issue. I chose Ryobi bc I have their line of power tools already and have plenty of batteries. I made my box gardens out of cinder blocks a couple of years ago after having to replace my wooden ones numerous times of the years. I have 2 boxes that are 4 blocks wide and 10 long. I love them and also plant herbs in the holes of the blocks.

I've absolutely loved my Kobalt 80v weedeater, going on it's third year. much lighter and quieter than my old gas ones, no vibrations, still plenty strong enough to do some pretty hard stuff in ditches and the like. battery funs about an hour. got it and a blower for like $300

Mine made it 5 years before a friendly neighbor decided to alleviate me from one of my tools because I was distracted by the kids when picking up and forgot it in my driveway overnight.
But OP, just stick to whatever family of tools you already have around the house.
