Specticle Flo pre emergent does a great job at getting rid of VBW, Dove weed and the majority of our common uninvited lawn guests. I have been using it for the last two years and have very little of either. It is pricey however the application rate is so low that the cost / application is very reasonable.

Is it turning a little purple. And are you using a surfactant with it.

Does it go dormant after bermuda? If so, hit it with glysophate before it goes down for the winter. That’s the best way to deal with Dallisgrass short of digging it up.

I have always believed that weeds follow droughts .
No surprise the only 3 houses in my subdivision that watered last year had the least amount of weeds this year.
I think the biggest mistake people make is when we approach fall and people stop caring about the lawn.
This is when doveweed drops seeds.
For Vbw for every flower it will drop 2 seeds.
And they germinate close to 100%.
So don't give up.
Hit it every week till frost and set yourself up for next year and give yourself a chance.
You have to remember you are always a year behind.
I've eradicated vbw and doveweed in the backyard for the first time.
Front yard I didn't take care of the doveweed last year and paid the price this year.
Pops up every week, but I'll keep hand pulling and spot spraying.
Haven't allowed the small amount Vbw to flower so I'm confident next year should be OK.
My final defense will be applying product with Indaziflam as active ingredient.
There is no quick fix.
Spotted spurge has been ridiculous for me this year.
