Installed 300 sq feet (out of 1700 total) yesterday and was already impressed with how quiet it was over our pier and beam.

Plenty of creaks and pops went away.

No underlay.

Is that directly over slab? What product?

No. We used to have slab for about 1/3 of my house but truly fixing it would have been $50k+. We built a pier and beam on top of it as a part of the remodel.

I’ll put a very small portion on slab in my laundry room

Brand is Traditions - Rio Grande by Soutioncore.

Difficult to nail it down. We wanted some flooring from Home Depot but they didn’t have stair edging so we went with a local place. Only way to find it was the SKU.

How do people live with seeing such obvious repeats? You have identical planks next to each other multiple times in that room. Would drive me crazy, and is why we went with real wood.

yeah. the 2 matching in the middle drive me nuts. noticed that after i took the picture. fortunately my bed will be over that.

i am going to address it with the floor guys to make sure they don't repeat it elsewhere. that's the only room they've done.
